Bizy Tech partnered with the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar under the Tanzania Food Systems Resilience Program (TFSRP) to design and develop the Kilimo App System and Farmer Registry.

This initiative focuses on digitizing agricultural services and improving how farmers access information, markets and support systems across Zanzibar.

Our Role

Bizy Tech led the full development and implementation of the Kilimo digital platform, delivering a scalable and user-centered solution that supports both farmers and agricultural stakeholders.

Our work included building the mobile and web application, developing a centralized farmer registry, integrating with national systems such as ZanID and NIDA and equipping users through training and support.

Implementation Approach 

The project was executed through a structured process that included system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and user training ensuring the solution is both practical and sustainable.

Project Timeline

The system was successfully developed and deployed over a period of six months, from initial planning to full rollout.
