The Irrigation Management Information System (IMIS) is a national digital platform developed by Bizy Tech Limited for the National Irrigation Commission (NiRC) under the Ministry of Agriculture financed by the World Bank.

IMIS modernizes irrigation governance by integrating scheme and project management, billing, approvals, monitoring and evaluation, and environmental and social compliance into a single centralized system. The platform replaces manual processes with real-time, data-driven workflows that enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability across national, regional, and council levels.

Through role-based access, mobile-enabled field operations and audit-ready reporting, IMIS supports informed decision-making and contributes to sustainable irrigation development in Tanzania.
