The Subsidy Distribution System is a digital platform developed by BizyTech in Partnership with TFRA and CRDB. Launched on July, 2022, this innovative system aims to enhance the distribution of fertilizers to citizens by ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability.

The government adopted this system for several key reasons: effectively managing and regulating the entire fertilizer distribution process, accurately identifying and verifying recipients of the fertilizer subsidy, and enhancing the traceability of fertilizers to track their delivery to specific locations and beneficiaries. Additionally, the Subsidy Distribution system ensures precise and verifiable claims by stakeholders and facilitates buyers to receive the right services while also overcoming existing issues in fertilizer procurement.

Digitalizing the Subsidy Distribution system has led to substantial improvements. The number of fertilizer distribution centers has risen from 2,000 to 7,000 and fertilizer usage has surged from 3,086,000 to 5,015,000. The system also allows for precise tracking of each farmer’s fertilizer purchases, ensuring transparency in the distribution process.

The Subsidy Distribution System operates through a streamlined process: distributors confirm the availability of fertilizers, agro-dealers request fertilizers from the distributor, importers supply fertilizers to the agro-dealer, and agro-dealers sell the fertilizers to farmers. Designed to ensure that fertilizers reach farmers easily, transparently, and efficiently, the Subsidy Distribution system represents a significant advancement in improving the agricultural sector and helping farmers get the fertilizers they need in a timely manner.
